Here is the latest update on our misplaced paperwork (dossier):

As of yesterday, CCAA has not found your dossier. We are preparing a second dossier. It will be "authenticated" by the Chinese embassy by the end of next week at the latest.

To those of you who aren't familiar with this process...this means that they have to re-do, re-notorize, and re-translate our paperwork. This is done in Ottawa. It will be then sent to China. I have asked for more info as to how long we can expect to wait until we travel. (I hope I get some good news for a change!)

Unbelievable!!! I'm lost for words you guys...what you have been through is insane...
I have FOI contacting CCAA to make sure they got my dossier as it was DTC July 14..right at the move. I havent heard back from FOI yet...fingers crossed!!!
My heart goes out to you as I know how much each day waiting is costing you....HUGS!!!
OK I agree Good News would be a refreshing break for once! Wow talk about over the coals!
