I emailed our agency to ask if planning for December travel would be out of the question and if we are literally starting our wait to travel approval all over again. I also asked when we should contact our province to make another amendment...as the province only approved us for 20 months at placement...our girl will be 20 months in October. Here is their reply:
Natalie;
I can't answer the question. Yulin will certainly advocate for special processing since the fault lies at CCAA. We'll know better when the dossier lands again in China.
Lets see if we get a sympathetic audience with a CCAA director when the dossiers lands in China before we approach the PEI government. In any case, PEI knows what happened and should be a bit flexible.
Bob
CCAA stands for China Center for Adoption Affairs.
This isn't good news for us...but it isn't all bad either...I guess we will just wait and see what happens. Hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks we will know more.

Oh Natalie and Daniel... you will be there and holding MeiLin by Christmas, I just know it! You deserve to be flown there first class, private jet with turbo and an official document stating there will be no further complications or delays. That's just what I think.
