In the arms of the angels

I just spent the last two and a half days at my grandfathers bedside with my family. He passed away peacefully at 6pm surrounded by those he loved dearly. We were all able to say our goodbyes and he said he was going home now. I told him to watch over our little girl in China and he nodded his head yes. He paused and looked at each of us one at a time, though he couldn't say much...he spoke to each of us with his eyes. We love you Dad. Rest peacefully now.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pasture,
He leadeth me beside still waters, he restoreth my soul.
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his namesake
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I fear no evil, for thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalms 23

I am so sorry for your loss, God bless you and your family in the coming days. What a beautiful request to ask that he watch over your daughter in China, brought tears to my eyes.

Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Grandfather's are always a hard loss to bear. Keep your faith close to you in the days and weeks ahead and know that you always carry a piece of him with you.
