I would like to "officially" introduce to you all
"Mei Lin Lexuan Arsenault", born February 28th, 2005. She is 16 months old today!
My mom had a lady bug land on her hand the other day! Here is our little lady bug!
She has been in the Qu Jiang orphanage in Guangdong province, China since April 30th, 2005 and is about 7-8 months old in these pictures.
I was able to sign up with the yahoo group for her orphange and guess what I found in the photo section? Someone else who adopted from the same orphange had taken her picture while they were there. Isn't that amazing!
We think she is beautiful! She has a cleft palate, but we have been in contact with the IWK and they are going to set up an appointment for when we get back to see what type of procedures she will need.
Thank you everyone for your support and prayers, if it were not for you...I don't know how I would have gotten through this past little while. And you are right...I was all worth it. So from here...we write a letter to China stating that we accept the referral and we wait for them to send us a letter back telling us when we can go. Right now, the average wait is two months...so we are planning for October travel at the latest!

CONGRATS! I've been dying to finally say that. She is beautiful, perfect, and so tiny!!!!!Praise the Lord!!! So October or hopefully before!!!I was reading your previous ladybug sitings and one was 20 days before she was born.

Mei Lin is perfect...she looks so serious...haha!! Hopefully you will be able to get some recent pictures soon, I bet she has changes so much!

I had to come back to the computer 4-5 times today to have a look at her! She is soo sweet just looking into those choco brown almond shaped eyes melts my heart.

You know what, David and I were at the beach on Canada day and he said look Kelly there's a ladybug and I immediately thought of you guys. My mom always says "If there's a will, there's a way!" So keep saying your prayers and I can't wait to see you in the act of parenting. I so want this for you both. This tough experience will only make you love her even more {if that's possible. I'm in calgary as we speak and I want to plan something when I get back. I love you guys and keep at it. xoxo
