Our letter has been sent to China today. This is our letter stating that we wish to adopt Mei Lin. Currently the average wait before you hear back from China as to when we can travel is 65 days...but it could be as soon as 30 days or as long as 120 days....so, the average wait of 65 days brings us to somewhere around the middle of September before we can even start making travel arrangements. We are guessing that we will travel to China in Octob
er. If it happens sooner...GREAT! If it happens later...I WILL SCREAM!
To celebrate the day, I bought Mei Lin this new blankie off of Ebay! Isn't it cute!
Tomorrow will officially be day 1 of our wait to travel approval. Anyone want to start a pool to guess when our travel approval will come!? Could be fun. Maybe I will buy the winner something from China when we are there!

opps I just realized you said guess when travel APPROVAL would be I was guessing Gotcha day.... sorry ....ok I will guess TA to be August 10th.
Alright.....hmmmm.....you guys have had a bit of a struggle with delays in the past and I'm guessing there will be NO MORE!!! My TA guess will be that you will get the news on August 22nd. That gives CCAA 1 month in a bit, so here's hoping Deb is right and you get it on the 10th, but I want something from China...no I'm joking!!! Here's to a speedy TA....enjoy the rest of the summer, it will FLY by!!!
Hi Natalie and Daniel! Thank you so much for sharing your blog with us!!! We are so excited for you both,the kids and I check it every night before bed to keep up with all the good news! Nicholas is excited because Mei Lin shares his birthday! November 28th,1996! We will be out in a couple weeks, and can't wait to see you in person and share your joy! We are guessing August 28th... keeping with the "28th" theme...but pray it is earlier!

Too cute...I love the little blanket. Sorry I couldn't make it to your BBQ today. You had a beautiful day for it and I am sure that everyone had fun. My guess is August 15, my mom and dad's anniversary.
