Everybody breathe!...especially me! After sitting by the phone all day, I finally received a phone call from the agency and they didn't send the file back to China. What actually happened is that the file was put away in a safe place so that it wouldn't get sent back to China - but not all parties were aware of this. The person that was aware...of course was not there today...so everybody panicked!
The person that put this file away, kept telling me the amendment hadn't arrived because the person who received the package...sent it off for notorization and translation...not realizing someone was waiting for it. Everybody confused? No matter...all is okay...and Mei Lin's file is on it's way to PEI.
Our agency is concerned still with the age range on the amendment as it may be over 4 months before we get her...and that would make her over the 20 months as requested. I guess I will have to plead with the province once more.
We've been through this much...I'm sure we'll get there eventually!

Congrats! HIP HIP Horray it's on it's way! So Happy to hear some good news for you finally! I can't believe it wasn't even sent back but hidden away! Gods hands were all over that file.
Whew!!!!Big Sigh!!! This is the wildest roller coaster ride yet, I think.Let's hope you are smooth coasting from here on out.
